Adding Woods Planks To Our Kitchen Island

Since i'm on this whole planking kick..Today I idea I'd part simply a quick post on how nosotros 'casualized' .. non certain if that's a word?.. Our kitchen island! We had the kitchen isle cabinets installed inwards night woods BUT it's together with therefore NOT ME or our identify for that matter.. My married adult man wanted to drib dead along it night originally for a yr or so..But I FINALLY convinced him to come across my vision together with he agreed icon it was the best selection for us.. We purchased the Tongue together with Groove primed MDF panels from RONA

The panels are 6" wide

Because they were 6" broad planks all nosotros had to create was cutting the woods to the proper height.. Then to apply them to the isle nosotros used structure adhesive, fast together with no blast holes to fill upward ;)

Here is how it looked primed.. scary right? "Did nosotros brand a mistake??" was crossing my mind!! Of course of written report I couldn't say the married adult man that! Don't worry it all works out.. Keep scrolling ;)
